Calm treatment room with a massage table, folded towels and a candle

The quiet room at the back of the house.

Massage, spa rituals and holistic therapies with qualified therapists — sixty or ninety minutes where the phone stays in the drawer and nobody talks unless you want to.

What we do

Three ways to put an hour down.

Our therapists are qualified and insured. If a treatment isn't right for you — pregnancy, injury, a medication — we'll say so and suggest one that is.

Massage therapies

Swedish for switching off and deep tissue for the knots you've been carrying since March. Pressure adjusted throughout, not just at the start.

Spa rituals

Hot stone work, back-neck-shoulder rituals and full-body treatments with warm oils, low light and a proper wind-down at the end.

Holistic

Reflexology, aromatherapy blended for you on the day, and Indian head massage. Bookable as standalone treatments or added to any ritual.

A recent appointment

Ninety minutes, and not a word spoken.

A client who works nights books the last aromatherapy ritual of the day, every third Thursday. She fills in the consultation form once, tells us "no talking" and that's honoured every time — warm oils, hot towels, low light and a glass of water at the end.

The treatment room is at the back of the building, away from the salon floor. Most people are surprised how little of Bedford Place you can hear from in there.

How it works

Arrive early. Leave slowly.

  1. Consultation form

A short health and preferences form on your first visit — pressure, areas to avoid, and whether you'd rather not chat.

  2. Arrival & wind-down

Come ten minutes early. Herbal tea, somewhere to put your things, and time to stop rushing before we start.

  3. Your treatment

Full sixty or ninety minutes hands-on — the time you booked is time on the table, not time in the room.

  4. Afterwards

Water, a few minutes to come round, and honest advice on whether you need this monthly or twice a year.
